Yesterday for the After School activity we did programming! Each student made an animation. One student made an animation of an astronaut on the moon with two aliens! Another student made instruments play music with a guy dancing. They were all creative projects.

We used coding principles like loops and stops, and we used motion blocks like rotation and “move 10 steps.”

We’re using Scratch, a coding learning tool from MIT. We use it to make games and animations. You can join us for After School or Spring School if you want to try it with other students!
