In our next section we will be talking about linking sounds. This is a similar idea to the previous part about not using every sound in a word. In English, we often combine words together to create a new sound. For example, "He's an actor." would sound like "He-za-nactor." This happens when a word ending with a consonant is followed by a word starting with a vowel. Another example might be "What did you do?" sounds like "Wha-diju-do?" When you are practicing at home, try to identify when you should be linking words together to sound more natural.
