This week we went on a scavenger hunt for bugs and went to the INCL farm. We have been studying the English names for bugs this month and each student has chosen their favorite one. The students had to find a total of ten bugs to finish the entire scavenger hunt and we searched while walking to our farm. On the way to the farm each student was able to find a few different bugs. When we got the farm they were able to spot some of the more difficult bugs to find but they were not able to find all of the bugs. While on our walk the students would see other bugs and shout out the names in English which was very exciting. As the students went home they were able to tell their parents in English that they went on a scavenger hunt and that they found six bugs. They are getting more and more confident using English to tell their parents a little about their day.
