Keeping track of the day, week, and month is important for students, employees, parents, teachers, and everyone else. How do you keep track of it? Do you use a planner? A caledar? An app on your phone?

In just about every Japanese office I've seen, there are usually 2-3 calendars on the walls with a lot of white boards. In the U.S. I've seen less calendars on the walls, but some people have one for their desks or use one on their computers or phones. But, there are many offices in Japan and the U.S. so it's hard to say if my experience shows a general pattern.

Anyway! If you want a real, physical calendar, there are many choices. You can pick one that lists the days in one column tables. You can pick the normal grid layout or even a week layout. The type you pick depends on how you keep track of your schedule and whether you need a lot of room to write things like activities and plans.

BUT we all know what the most important thing about picking a calendar is, right?! The PICTURES! You have to pick if you want a calendar featuring the landscapes of Sweden or various pictures of Alpacas. The choices are endless!
