When is Autumn?
In Australia, autumn lasts from March to May because it is in the Southern Hemisphere. While Japan enjoys spring, Australians experience autumn.

Weather and Nature
Autumn weather is mild—around 15–22°C in Sydney. Melbourne is cooler and often rainy, while Brisbane stays relatively warm. Australians often say it’s the most pleasant season.
You can also see autumn leaves, especially in places like the Blue Mountains or Canberra, though many Australian trees are evergreen, so the scenery is less colorful than in Japan.

Traditions and Foods
ANZAC Day (April 25th): A national holiday to honor soldiers, often marked by eating ANZAC biscuits.
Wine Season: Grapes are harvested, and wineries welcome visitors.
Autumn Foods: Pumpkins, apples, and pears are popular. Halloween exists but is not as big as in Japan.
