Christmas Eve the day before Christmas. Were many children wait for the next morning to open their presents. Though in some cultures, children stay up until midnight to open their presents. Especially in a lot of Latin American cultures. I remember as child staying up all night playing games with my cousins, eating tamales my mom and aunties made for the family. Once its midnight all my family members would say Merry Christmas to each other, then pass out presents to each other. After everyone receives their gifts everyone just cleans up the garbage, takes left over food and goes home. Then the next morning I typically just eat left over tamales and enjoy my new gifts that I am thankful for. How about you?
