This week, one of our after school activities was engineering!

First we made a sling shot. All you need are two rubber bands, a plastic bottle with a cap, a string, some scissors, and something to poke a hole in the cap (like a screwdriver). Experiment by using bigger or smaller rubber bands, a short or long string, and different types of balls.

After that, we started making a straw roller coaster. You need: many straws, hot glue or tape, a cardboard box, and a ping pong ball. Basically, make a track with the straws for the ball to follow. Put some straws vertically for support and height and some straws horizontally for a slope for the balls to fall down. We need to finish later!
