Today we are going to continue our presentation of Christmas stories by looking at Frosty the Snowman.

The story goes, some kids made a snowman in the winter. He had a corn cob pipe and a button nose. But, when they placed a magic top hat on the snowman, he came to life! The kids called him Frosty and they played around the city all day. But, as the weather got warmer Frosty melted away. Now, Frosty is a legend among the kids of the neighborhood.

This story is a very famous Christmas song but was also made into an animation film in 1969. Many children enjoy the idea of a magical snowman so making life size snowmen is a popular thing to do when it snows in the US.
