Trick or treating in America is very popular. When I was a child, I would go every year and get lots of candy, but my parents would eat my candy too. When I became an adult, I started to go trick or treating with my nieces and nephews and now I take their candy, but I let them choose what candy to give me. It is a lot of fun! One year I dressed up as famous characters from a popular American movie and people said I had the best costume. So many people liked my costume and gave me a lot of candy. When I was a child, this was my second favorite holiday behind Christmas.
