I was fortunate enough to visit my family in Australia over the new year holiday period. I had not seen my family in nearly 3 years. In Australia, it is summer, so many people spend their holidays at the beach. I spent my new years eve in this way, with my family. The weather was warm so we spent lots of time in the water, enjoying activities such as kayaking, walking, swimming, and watching my 18-month-old niece enjoy the water.
