In my opinion, the best places to visit in California are the Winchester Mystery House, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Disneyland.

Everyone’s heard of Disney, but California’s Disneyland is the first theme park that Walt Disney ever built and it’s still a great place to enjoy the unique magic and atmosphere that makes Disney Disney. If you’re interested in more amusement rides but want to enjoy the California coastline, then look no further than the Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk. It’s free to enter and it’s a great time even if you just want to walk around and look out at the beach.

If you’re interested in a nice quiet afternoon, then I recommend the Monterey Bay Aquarium with its amazing kelp forests. The otters and seals are adorable and it’s perfect to get out of the hot sun. But if you need that chill down your back this summer, then the Winchester Mystery House is the perfect place to get some goosebumps. The house is like a maze and the story behind how it got that way is incredibly spooky, so I definitely recommend it for any horror lovers out there.

Last but not least, California has some amazing scenic spots to see from Lake Tahoe to Death Valley, but I’m partial to the Golden Gate Bridge because it’s so iconic and it’s close to where I grew up. Looking at the orange bridge through the foggy San Francisco weather is stunning and I hope everyone gets the chance to see it for themselves!
