Tuesday this week, I did science and programming with students for Spring School, which is our full day program.

For science, we learned the basics of the scientific method, and the students understood a lot, even though it was in English! We made and decorated funnels with straws for making small balls float. The students learned about how the shape of the ball is important for keeping the ball in the air. They made hypotheses, and we tested them. Smooth, round balls work best! And we also made a rocket!

For programming, we worked on a game for chasing an object with a character. Even though it was challenging. everyone wanted to keep working on their programs! It was even hard to make them take their break time!
