"Let's eat, grandpa." is a suggestion for you and your grandfather to have a meal but if you forget to use a comma, as in "Let's eat grandpa.", grandpa becomes the meal. Be careful not to forget punctuation as what you're trying to say can be misunderstood in odd ways sometimes.
