Have you tried a Tapioka drink? As you know, Tapioka are chewy black balls. They are made from Cassava which is a kind of yam.

Tapioka milk tea origined in Taiwan. In English, it's called " bubble tea ", " boba tea " or " black pearl ". It's becoming a great hit in Japan lately, and many shops started selling them, one after another.

The other day, I participated in a test run of Tapioka drinks at the Gomihattin restaurant. There were four flavors such as milk tea, green tea, mango and strawberry. I tried the mango one. The drink was divided into three layers and I could taste brown sugar from the Tapioka balls. It was really delicious. I highly recommend these drinks. 皆さんはタピオカドリンクをためしたことはありますか？ ご存知の通りタピオカはもちもちとした触感の黒い粒です。それらはイモの一種のキャッサバから作られています。

タピオカの発祥の地は台湾です。英語では「バブルティー」、「ボバティー」または「ブラックパール」といいます。 最近日本で大人気で、たくさんの店が次々とタピオカドリンクを売り始めています。

先日、五味八珍で行われたタピオカドリンクのテストランに行ってきました。ミルクティー、抹茶、マンゴー、そしてイチゴの四つの味があり、私はマンゴーを試してみました。ドリンクは3層に分かれていて、タピオカは黒糖で味付けされていました。すごく美味しかったです。 とってもお勧めです。皆さんにも楽しんでもらえたらと願います。（7月下旬より）
