In August, it was my 28th birthday. My birthday is August 16th. This Year I went to Osaka and Kyoto and did a lot of sightseeing. It was so much fun. I also ate a lot of delicious food and drank a lot of matcha tea in Kyoto. In America, I usually celebrate with my family and they make me a large chocolate cake. My mother also makes me my favorite food, some years they make me chicken and broccoli casserole or an Italian dish known as Lazagna. In Japan I cannot eat my mothers food, but she sends me a lot of presents and happy birthday wishes.
